Third Year Goals


Our chapter is now entering the third year.  My goals and objectives for this year are to continue our integration into this community with an eye toward furthering cooperation with the University and enhancing our educational outreach to the youth of Chico.  We will also continue our work in the other primary focus areas including Immigration Rights and Education, LGBT, and Police Practices.  Our team of directors is even stronger this year with great new members who are closely affiliated with CSU Chico, and with Chico High School.

Chico ACLU launches a Spanish language web page!


The Chico Chapter of the ACLU again takes the lead.  Our new Spanish language web page provides a comprehensive resource to our Hispanic population with important links and documents to assist this underserved group in our community.

We are very proud and honored to be able to provide not only the web page but to provide access to a fluent Spanish speaking board member to assist our Hispanic and Spanish speaking immigrant population.
